Hi, I'm Carina 👋🏼

I am currently a fourth-year student at Stanford University studying Computer Science and Economics, with a concentration in Human-Computer Interaction. I'm also working towards a Master's Degree in Management Science & Engineering, with a focus in Technology & Engineering Management.

Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, I've always been fascinated by the world of technology. I am currently exploring my interests in product management, design, marketing, and UI/UX research through my work and extracurricular experience.

At Stanford, I conduct research with the Stanford Human-Computer Interaction Group. Previously, I have served as the President of Stanford Women in Computer Science (WiCS), the Vice President of Marketing at Cardinal Ventures, and led marketing & logistic efforts for TreeHacks. In my spare time, I love to watch football (Go Hawks!), brush up on my trivia skills, play the NYT Mini Crossword, and try new restaurants—see below!

Right now, I'm leading my own research project, Museum in the Classroom, under the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI. The app uses generative AI to enhance student engagement to personalize an AR museum experience for any classroom. Please reach out if you're interested in participating in our upcoming user studies.
